One reason I joined the World Race to was to see what G0d was up to in the World. I wanted to take the time and share some of the ways I have seen Him present in the various countries that I visit.
In Thailand we were blessed to do our training camp on a rural ranch owned by an amazing and generous family. The Eubanks graciously showed us G0d’s love by welcoming our 25 squad members and 6 mentoring staff into their home and providing us the space for the Spirit to move in us. The Eubanks are home only about 2 months a year as they travel the world the rest of the year helping to bring training and freedom to people oppressed by war in their countries and yet they did not hesitate for a moment to let us invade their space. The hospitality of G0d and His working presence was clearly visible in and through them. While in Chiang Mai, Thailand we were also blessed to stay at Zion Cafe and Hostel. A coffee shop and hostel run by a Thai woman, Emmi following G0d’s calling to bring freedom to her city. Emmi helps to bring girls caught in the sex industry out through building relationships with them in the bars and providing alternative work through her coffee shop as well as safe housing. G0d popped up all over the place really in Thailand and I was constantly amazed by how present He was even in small ways. One of the monks we chatted with mentioned that his younger sister was a follower of J. My team was able to make connections with a restaurant owner along one of the popular bar streets and shine light into the darkness. In midst of the struggles my team faced with surgery and other injuries G0d was faithful to provide the right people and bring comfort. A YWAM team stayed was also staying the hostel with us during the month and we got share with and encourage one another in the work G0d was doing in all our lives.
