HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTERS!

This a HAPPY BIRTHDAY Shout–out to my two big sisters!!

Randi – 27 on August 18th

   – Hey sis! Happy birthday – I can’t believe you are 27 and have 3 kids … you are so put together. Thanks for being such a great big sister – always. Even when we were young and I LOVED when you got punished … you always stood up for me when I got in trouble. Thanks for being my friend and understanding my heart – and for encouraging me to do what I love to do. Thanks for always making me feel like the funniest person in the world – and for videotaping me our entire childhood! J And – thanks for making me an Aunt … seeing that it is my favorite thing in the world!! Ash has to do a LOT to catch up with you in the “you gave me the best title ever” award! HAHA – it may be a while!!  But really … thank you for all of your cards, letters, pictures, and videos throughout the year – you know they mean more to me than I could ever say. I still cannot believe we became friends – with how you always stole my clothes growing up and how much I loved when you were in trouble! I have always and will forever look up to you as an example to my life in so many areas. I know your title is “the pretty one” but don’t worry – we know you are more than just a pretty face! I am so looking forward to living with you when I get home and just spending time with you and Chris and the kids! I fully expect for your fridge to have a magic tea pitcher – that is ALWAYS filled with sweet tea – hope it’s not too much to ask for!

Ashli – 30 on August 28th

   – Dang Ash – you are getting old!! I can’t believe you are 30 – that means that Mom and Dad are really getting old!! Thanks for also being the best oldest sister and for always wanting to kill anyone who remotely upset me! I appreciate all the ways you have defended me throughout all the years and taught me how to stand up for myself. I am so thankful for the ways that you understand my desire to travel the world and my love for other cultures. You have made it so much easier for me to go on trips like The World Race because you paved the way years ago. I mean, Mom & Dad might be more stressed out by what I am doing this year – if you weren’t living in the Middle East – so thanks for that sacrifice!! J I love all the hilarious cards you get me – you completely get my sense of humor and I appreciate that we get to try to sway the rest of our family to how hilarious we are! Now, don’t get a big head – because even though you are funny … you will never be “the funny one”. Everyone knows you are “the smart one” – and I will never even attempt to attain that title … but you know, you might have to back off on thinking you can booty dance as good as me – I will give you lyrical, ballet, tap, jazz – whatever else you want, but you can never have booty!! J I love you and can’t wait to see you – WHENEVER you come home next! Maybe one day we can convert the rest of our family into the world travelers that we are – by the way: I think by the end of this year, I may have BEAT YOU in how many countries we have been to … if think you are the winner – you are going to have to PROVE IT!! Love you!
