This month has been pretty challenging as far as our ministry goes. But, we have also had some FUN times this month. Just wanted to share a few pictures with you of the fun things we have done. Starting with our zip-lining adventure…
Next was the Songkran festival (which is the Thai new year celebration — where they throw water on everyone for 3 days straight)!! And it is the hottest time of year, so you don’t really mind it!
April 16th was my 25th birthday and the girls here did a great job of making me feel special. I got notes of love and encouragement throughout the day, got a tiny birthday cake with three candles (to celebrate my 3 little ones at home that I love), and went to dinner at an amazing American restaurant — where my dear friends Anna & Rocio had the privilege of picking out my outfit! Here is the creation they put together…. (notice: my shirt is actually a skirt)!!

We had to go to Myanmar to renew our visas. Apparently when you come into a country on foot — you only get a 15 day visa instead of a 30 day one. This is myself, Sammie, and Steph Chiu sitting in a huge rocking chair at one of our bathroom breaks along the way.
And last would be our elephant ride through the jungle / waterfall / white water rafting adventure day — 2 days ago. Here are some pictures of that adventure.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated money to help us take our girls out of the bars for a night. I will let you know how that money has been spent and share stories with you of what God has done in them when our week with them comes to a close. I ask for your prayers — that we would speak truth and love to them, that they would desire Jesus, and that we would feel peace as we leave them at the end of the week — trusting them into the hands of God!
