At 1:00 am — 2 years ago, I had just gotten to the hospital (after a frantic 3 hour car drive)!! I will never forget how I felt when I saw your faces for the first time — or got to hold you for the first time!!
So, on April 12, 2009 — I love you even more than I did back then…which is hard for even me to believe. You two were the first real loves of my life and I wish there was a way for you to understand how much my heart aches being away from you. I miss you every single day and I constantly think about how fantastic it will be to see you in 7 months. I want you to know that Jesus is the only thing that could take me away from you for this long. He is the only one I would let take me away from being with you every day.
Mackenli — you are so beautiful!! You get prettier and prettier with every single picture I see of you. You are such a sweet girl and such a help with Ryleigh. I love getting to talk to you on Skype and hear you sing your ABC’s for me and “Tinkle Tinkle lulle store”! I wish I could be there for your birthday to give you lots of kisses and hugs, but I am saving them all up for when I see you in November — that is going to be a LOT! Don’t grow too much while I am gone! I love you with all of my heart! 🙂
Cason– I miss your laugh and cajun dancing with you. I hope you are practicing on your moves so that when I get home, we can have a good dance party! I miss tickling you and hearing you giggle with tears in your eyes! You are so funny and I know that you keep Mackenli on her toes and Ryleigh laughing all the time. I love getting to see you on Skype and hear your little voice when you are torturing your sisters or Chopper. And, I love getting to see you jump on the bed, hear you say “bless you” and watch you laugh with your hand over your mouth. You bring a smile to my face all day long. I love you with all of my heart!
Even though — it is not your birthday yet — I love you too Ryleigh! So much! I am amazed everytime I see you and how much you have grown….and even more amazed at how much a child that is not mine, can look just like me!!! I love you so much baby girl and I can’t wait to see you in November.
