I have so many thoughts about what is going to happen in my life over the next year. Some more important than others — but all are the things that actually cross my mind a lot as I look ahead:
- I am so nervous!
- I am so so so excited!
- Can I really leave my nieces and nephew for 11 months?
- I cannot wait to experience God in each culture that I encounter
- Can I survive a year without my mom’s sweet tea?
- will my team members like to dance?
- what crazy things will I experience – that I never experience here in small town Texas?
- I am really excited about spending my birthday in Thailand 🙂
- I have so much to get done before I leave!
- I wish that my family could come with me
- I cannot wait to write home about the things I see
- How will I ever process all that I am going to experience?
- Lord – I cannot believe that you have called ME to do this! Thank you for creating my heart to love missions!! I am so glad you made me this way!
- Lord – wow…this is not going to be easy sometimes–I am going to miss a lot of comforts from home!
- I will never ever look back on this experience and wish I hadn’t gone! I am going to be changed forever because of it!
