Within the first few minutes of meeting me – my love for dancing will usually be discussed!!

I grew up in a small town called Groves, TX and it is a fantastic place spend a childhood!  Many of the things I love most in my life I learned to love during my time in Groves… my family, friends, Jesus, music, dancing of course, guacamole, pork-a-bobs, wrapping people’s houses, Christmas, and I am sure the list could go on.  I became a Christian at 12 years old during a disciple now weekend at my church. By age 14 – I knew that ministry was a calling on my life.  After finishing high school at PN-G, I went on the Dallas Baptist University and was a part of a worship team called Glowing Heart!  The four years I spent at DBU and in Glowing Heart have really helped to shape me into the person I am today and my love for missions!

I have two older sisters and was actually somewhat of a mistake/miracle child!  Being the baby is really fun I think!  Ashli is 5 years older than me and has always looked out for me – usually giving me advice on life and of course being the big sister – paying for things in my life!  She and I share a love for the world and the adventures it holds.  Randi is two years older than me and has helped me to have confidence in myself – that is because she is the “shy” one and always thought I was funny.  Randi was always the one behind the camera and I was always the one in front of the camera–which is still a good picture of our relationship!  My parents are amazing and have instilled in each of us a love for all people, a beautiful example of commitment, and taught us to always laugh at ourselves!!

My friends like to call me “obsessive” — but I choose to see it as “committed”!  However you choose to see my personality — when I love something or someone–I am serious about it!  Right now, I am crazy in love with my nieces and nephew – and the shows The Office and The Ellen DeGeneres show…so, most of my time is spent on these things or talking about these things!  Of course, I cannot go on without talking about my love for dancing!  It is something I would say that I am addicted to and cannot even control in my life.  I have danced since I was a child, grew up in a family who all love to dance, and somehow went to a Baptist church and college!  I am not a “dancer” per say — I just love to dance and no matter the style of music that is on: worship, hip-hop, country…you will find me moving along to it and usually trying to convince everyone else around me to join in!
