The day has finally come!
Launching out for the world race
11 months 11 countries
I’ve been asked many times, “Daphnee, are you excited?”
And for a while I was not excited about the race, I had mixed emotions, doubts about what if something happens again to prevent me from launching.
But, even with all the doubts and mixed emotions, I couldn’t stop from pursuing the race. Looking back from my journey thus far, there are many lessons I’ve learned, strengths I didn’t know I had that God revealed to me. I want to share a few with you, and pray that they will set the fire in you to DREAM BIG!
- If you are going to dream, dream Big. Dream the dream that everyone thinks is crazy.
- Never ever give up. Your big dreams are worth fighting for.
- Struggles and obstacles are presented to you to reveal strengths in you that you never knew you had.
- Fear is a lie..…Trust me being fearful is not worth it. When fear presents itself to you, “Just do it.” When I get fearful to do something, all the reasons of why it cannot be done will run through my mind…. I will count to 3 and just do it.
1…2…3…Just do it!
Just dive into it!
"For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7
- Have the willingness to accept change. Things happen. It will not always go your way. Instead of dwelling on the fact that things didn’t go as you planned, ask yourself, “what lesson is this change trying to teach me?”
- When I had to change to a different route at the last minute, I didn’t understand why than. But, God knew what He was doing. He knew I wasn’t ready. He knew I needed to Trust Him more. He knew I needed to learn patient. He knew I needed to know that Victory is already mine!
- Think positive. I know you have heard of that many times, but it works. Thinking positive will create a chain of positive events.
It will build your confidences.
Make you feel like a superhuman.
Alter your “ I can’t” to “I can do it!”
To
“I did it!!! “
As I dive into the world race, still with doubts running through my mine, I am Confident in the God I serve. Victory is already mine.
