Remember when you were a kid and you would play truth or dare with your friends?
… and when someone picked 'dare'…
… you'd think of something ridiculous for your friend to do,
… and it was probably something they could get in trouble for,
… be dangerous,
… get hurt doing,
… or maybe even succeed in? …
As a followers of Christ, we haven't exactly chosen an 'easy' way of life.
We've chosen the Truth AND a dare.

I've heard the truth and accepted it.
Jesus says in John 14:6 — “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
I'm also taking up the dare: to tell His Gospel.
Sharing the Gospel may seem ridiculous to some.
People around the world get in trouble for His name.
It's dangerous to take the light into dark places.
Men & women will get persecuted, hurt, and die for the Gospel.
Do I dare to do the same?
Do I dare to spread the Gospel?
…Take it to the ends of the earth as Christ commissioned? [Matt 28:19]
Do I dare to count the cost? [Acts 20:24] [Phil 3:8-9]
Can I speak the words of Paul?
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. [Phil 1:21 NIV]
Can I be bold and ask myself… dare I succeed?
… everything happening to me in this jail only serves to make Christ more accurately known, regardless of whether I live or die. They didn't shut me up; they gave me a pulpit! Alive, I'm Christ's messenger; dead, I'm his bounty.
