Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”
Luke 6:21 “Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied.”
Proverbs 10:24 “What the wicked dreads will overtake him; what the righteous desire will be granted.”
Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”
The world tells us that sinning is fun and exciting. But, gaining the world isn’t worth losing your soul. God asks us to live righteous lives for him. Those who are righteous are acting in a morally correct manner. They are pursuing ways to live their lives in a manner that is honoring to God. Someone who is righteous will always seek ways to better serve God. It involves following Jesus’ example and teachings. God promises to provide for those who love him. Ask and you will receive. God will grant the desires of the righteous.
