I’ve found that the World Race is a lot about numbers. The hashtag for the World Race is even #11n11. So I had decided back in month one to keep track of my “World Race Stats,” to see just exactly how many hotels, airports and tuk-tuk rides I can experience in one year of traveling.

My year in numbers

# of days away from home: 338

# of countries (including flight layovers): 14

# of beds slept in: 31

# of nights in my tent: 50

# of hospitals/medical centers: 15 (new World Race record?)

# of flights: 20

# of airports: 21

# of bus rides: 73

# of tuk tuk rides: 120

# of motobike rides: 13

# of train rides: 7

# of boat rides: 5

So that’s it! That’s my race in a very tiny nutshell. I’ve been back in America for less than 3 weeks and rolled right into the busy holiday season. It still doesn’t seem real that I’ve lived this crazy, beautiful life this past year. Thank you to everyone that supported me financially, prayerfully, and emotionally! I am so blessed God gave me this amazing opportunity.
