Just wanted to update everyone on where I stand financially, physically, and such.
I currently have $7560 in my support account!! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me out so far. My fundraiser dinner I had at the end of November was a great success. Thank you to anyone who donated or bought items for the silent auction! I met my second deadline which was earlier in December, so I can offically leave with the rest of M Squad in January!
And it's January 8th to be exact. I'll head to Washington DC that Tuesday, and then a few days later we will be flying to Costa Rica! Which was not the first country we thought we would be going to but the World Race always has us on our toes.
Team Spice of Life will be working with at-risk teens and children in a small town in northern Costa Rica. We will be doing anything from teaching english, arts and crafts, music, sports, and anything in between! I'm so excited this is our first ministry because I have a love for working with childern, especially with the above activites!
Please pray for my whole squad as our time with our friends and family draws near,and we head into this next season in our lives. I'm very excited to be reunited with all of them in just over two weeks!
