Just 12 weeks ago I hear about the World Race for the first time! But God was preparing me for it long before then.
These are 10 steps God helped me take that led to the World Race...
1. Worked a 9-5 job that I really liked… more or less.
2. Dreamed of adventuring to live/work in Gibraltar… or anywhere else.
3. Realized without a God-centered purpose, living abroad would be for nothing.
4. Searched various missions organizations- the final four: CBM, FFHM, DR, WR.*
5. Asked God to lead me to one of them, then waited.
6. Asked God to push me to one of them, and waited.
7. Asked God to give me a passion for one of the ministries.
8. My heart for the World Race completely exploded. That’s figuratively speaking, of course.
9. Flew through the application process.
10. The day after my phone interview I received word from God through a friend that the World Race is what’s right for me!

For longer that I know, the Lord has been preparing me to go serve his children in conditions I can only imagine. And we’re both pretty stoked about that!
