I wrote this blog back in Ghana…

Today was such a good day! We went to Melody Christian School for ministry this morning and had SO much fun. Maybe the most fun I’ve had on the race so far!

Liz and Joey told bible stories to our class.

Next we played heads up, 7 up inside then took the games outside.

Outside it got real with red light green light and duck, duck, goose. Probably the most intense I’ve played these childrens games.

Then there was a hand ball game that I watched with a little girl. It was teachers versus world racers. It got intense!

After the game it was time to go. Their principal gave a speech that nearly made me cry multiple times. He talked about leaving our homes to share the love of Jesus and how grateful he was that we shared that love so well with the kids today. Of course I couldn’t stand there empty handed…

This little one was jumping to be held.

We were presented with a symbol of Mother Africa as a way of saying thank you.

We said our goodbyes and took final photos. See my post on Instagram or Facebook for our selfie fun. Standing by the vans while loading up, the gate to the school was suddenly flooded with children seeing us off. The little girl I spent the afternoon filming and taking photos with came straight up to me for a hug goodbye.

Sharing the love of Jesus doesn’t always look like Bible studies and prayer. Sometimes it looks like playing games and stepping outside your comfort zone.

What ways can you share the love of Jesus today?
