Attention everyone! I’m excited to announce that my first fundraising event is coming up soon.
Who’s having the event?
This girl. Right here.
What is it?
A yard sale
Where?
5643 St. Rt. 132, Batavia, OH 45103
When?
July 11th and 12th from 9am to 4pm both days
Why?
To fundraise money for my trip, of course!
How?
Well, I suppose I’ll display stuff in the yard and hope that people show up after following my overly decorated signs
Please stop by and check it out. And if you have any items at all-big or small (that’s right, I’ll take anything and everything you want to get rid of)-that you would like to donate to my yard sale then e-mail me at [email protected] for more details. I would like all donated items dropped off at my house located at 5585 Plum Run Rd., Milford, OH 45150 by July 3rd so I can set up for the yard sale the weekend before. If you’re close then I’ll come to you to pick up the stuff. Make sure to go through your basements, attics, closets, and garages this week and next. I want your junk!
I want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported me thus far. I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without you. If you haven’t already noticed my green progress bar at the top of the page, it says I’m 13% of the way funded. I think that is pretty awesome, but let’s go even further. I’m kind of nerdy so I’ve broken this down in a couple of different ways. Right now, I need about $14,000 to be fully funded. So, if I can get 100 people to donate $140 (either by a one-time donation or by donating $20 for the next seven months so I can reach my personal goal of being fully funded before I launch in January), then I’m golden! If I can get 200 people to donate $70 by a one-time donation or by donating $10 for the next seven months, then again I’m good to go. Point is, when you break it down like that, it isn’t so scary is it?
Okay, that’s it for now. I will post another yard sale blog closer to the date because if you’re anything like me then sometimes you can’t even remember what you had for breakfast. Don’t worry, you’re not alone in your forgetfulness. God bless and talk to you later.
