The Lighthouse is something used in navel navigation to shine light into dark places, being a beacon of light as a warning against danger and guiding to safe harbor.  They are firmly planted on solid rock (as opposed to the sandy ground of the beach that easily sinks when the waves come).
The Lighthouse represents the shining light of Christ.  We, as God’s people, are to be that beacon of the Light of God shining in a dark place, firmly planted on the solid ground of the Truth of Christ’s Love.

A Mosaic is a picture made up of many different smaller pieces, usually either of very different pictures that seemingly have nothing to do with the big masterpiece being created, or  pieces of colorful tile or glass.  Up close, it just looks like broken, jagged, sharp pieces of glass that might not be polished and are quite rough around the edges.  But when you get a broad look at the whole work of art, you see how all the rough, broken pieces fit just perfectly together to create a beautiful flowing image.
The Mosaic represents the many different, colorful, broken lives that make up the kingdom of God.

I like thinking of the Lighthouse Mosaic as a stained glass window, something let’s the glorious light of Jesus shine through the brokenness to create a beautiful, majestic, glorious picture of the kingdom of God and of His glory.

So that being said, let me introduce you to team

Please continue to be remembering us and lifting up my new team in prayer as we continue on in this journey together.  But also continue to be praying for my old teammates as well, and for our whole squad.

On the World Race, teams are occationally switched up.  At this point in the race, the squad leaders we have had from the AIM home office (Joel Dutton, Stacy Povian, Vanessa O’Neal), those who have done the race before and have been ministering to us as we minister to those around the world, we be leaving us after this month and going back to the States.  So the have raised up new squad leader from among our very own squad.  Here are the new squad leaders in training.

Please lift up our new squad leaders in prayer during this time of transition as they go through training this month.  All four of these fellow squad mates have been such a blessing to me personally.  I have learned so much from each one of them and they have helped spur me on to growth in so many different ways.  I am so blessed to minister alongside them and now to be under their leadership.  Please support them in prayer as they continue to be a support and blessing to me (and to all our squad) emotionally and spiritually.
