Well, India was a great experience that was unlike any other
so far on the race, but so have all the other countries. India is just a
different place. The first Sunday we helped a man be freed from a demon, so we
were off to an interesting start.
While in Shimla, the city we worked in, we got to meet a lot of neat
people who came to the Lord by seeing him work in miraculous ways.  One of the main ministries we did was
visit the members of the church.
So we got to hear the stories about how God healed them or someone in
their family or got delivered from demons. We also met some great prayer
warriors that we were so humbled by. It amazes me how this is all normal to
them an in America people doubt that these things happen. It really made me
think a lot about what some of our consequences could be.

In 1 Corinthians 11 the people were taking communion without
recognizing the body of the Lord and people were getting sick. So often we
write things off as having a bug and we just give people medications and say
it’ll be okay. The spiritual realm plays a bigger part than most of us realize.
I think that is one of Satan’s ways of breaking us down in America. He hides
behind what medically could be wrong, so God gets no credit for people being
healed.

One of the preacher’s wives at the church was diagnosed with
level one cancer. Within two days it moved to level three cancer. So the
doctors said there was not much that they could do. But this lady is one of the
prayer warriors that had amazing faith. She knew that the Lord could heal her
and was willing. So she prayed and the cancer slowly regressed to a level that
could be operated on. So she had her operation, has been through chemo and is
still not healed, but has faith that the Lord is going to heal her.

If we took everything to the Lord in prayer then maybe we
would give him that credit. That’s really what we’re commanded to do as
Christians: turn to the Lord in prayer. But for some reason we walk in fear and
are ashamed of that. I don’t know why that is. Perhaps that is what the Devil
hides behind.

We made it to Lugansk, Ukraine with only a little culture
shock of seeing white people everywhere. We are enjoying the city and the
ministry has been great. We have our own apartment and are doing our own
cooking. It has been very nice to finally have a little piece of home.
