First of all… GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!
Friends, Family, and partners of this mission!! Since my last blog post I have been traveling in order to continue to raise support, working, and preparing for the World Race! Since then, God has used all of you to make me reach OVER 50% OF MY SUPPORT TO BE RAISED!!! I can’t thank you enough! This all puts me ahead of schedule to reach $10,000 by September 16th.
Thank you all so much for the overwhelming show of support in the past few months. This means the world to me and is further proof that this is where God wants me.
So what’s next!?!
Well, I leave bright and early ( tomorrow morning (Wednesday the 10th) to fly to Atlanta, Georgia. I am then heading to Gainesville to Training camp for 10 days.
Training Camp Is Upon Us! … So What’s That?
Training camp is essentially our crash course for the 11 months we are gone on the World Race. They intensely prepare us Spiritually, physically, emotionally, and culturally for what is ahead of us. These next 10 days will be exhausting as we have physical tests to pass in order to go on the Race and they try to fit training for 11 months into 10 days.
BUT, as tiring and trying as these 10 days will be, I am nothing less then excited about it! I get to meet all of my teammates in person and we are all completely excited about finally spending some time together and getting to know each other better! I also get to break in all of the gear I will be using on the Race. So essentially, one big camping trip with all of my teammates.
How Can You Help??
You can help me and my teammates in a huge way through prayer! As we all travel from all over the States to Training Camp, there’s a lot of opportunity for Satan to do whatever he can to keep us from succeeding at pursuing this mission trip. Your prayers will be crucial over these next 10 days! Here’s some specific ways you can do that:
1. Pray for safe travels for all of us who are flying and driving to Training Camp.
2. Pray for God’s protection over us as we run, hike, push-up, pull-up, eat-up, and grow up over these 10 days. Pray that no one gets injured as we work hard at Camp.
3. Pray that We really work well together as a team and love on each other as the Church is supposed to and that any attempts for Satan to create drama will be shut down immediately.
4. Pray for spiritual openness to what God wants to teach me and yet spiritual discernment for the days to come.
5. Pray that God’s name is praised and lifted high no matter what the outcome is for us at the end of it all. Ultimately that is the goal.
Thank You All!
God is using you to make this outreach through missions happen.
Philippians 1:2-6,
“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
I will post again with an update and hopefully some pictures of how Training Camp goes. I can’t wait to see how God answers our prayers.
Thank you and God bless you!
