I have had the privilege of seeing and feeling the love of God first hand. Growing up I had a support system that firmly established my roots in the solid ground of Christ. My earliest childhood memories involve Saturday morning choir rehearsal, boy scouts meetings and trips, as well as youth group projects. If it wasn't't for Dr. L Charles Bennett and "The Crew" I don't know where I would be. Rev. Bennett was my father figure and "The Crew" was a group of single parent mothers including my own who raised me. The crew made sure we were all involved in activities that kept our minds free from being a devils workshop. Dayspring was the Church started by Rev.Bennett and Rev.Turner that spoke who I would be. The members affectionately referred to me as Dayspring Daniel. It was a title that carried weight. It gave me a lifetime responsibility. Now that I have matured I feel that title pulling me back to Dayspring. I feel that I have an obligation to come back to Dayspring and help continue to grow the church. I have always felt in my spirit that one day I would preach at Dayspring but I was terrified of the idea and ran as long as I could. I don't know exactly when, but in God's magnificent time, I will return to Dayspring.
The world race, seminary at Emory, and volunteering with my home church in Atlanta, Impact, are just the tip of the iceberg. I am setting up for my life's work, I am a man after God's own heart who wants nothing more than for others to feel and enjoy the peace and joy of God like I do. In supporting me to go on this trip you support the ministry that God is birthing through me. I won't preach to you long but ask any women and "child birth" hurts. It will hurt you to support me financially, and the devil may harass you for it, but the ministry that you are helping to birth will live on because you suffered through the pains of labor with me. I will not let your labor pains be in vain, this is something I will stick with, and as I continue to mature in the things of God you will know that you were apart of it. I hope to take youth on mission trips all throughout my life. I want to be able to inspire them to strive for more than cars, clothes and jewelry. Yet, I cannot do that unless I go first into the mission fields, and I can't go first unless you support me financially. Help me birth this ministry, and through our mutual pain and toil, may God bless this ministry to always do His will. Thanks in advance for your support! #ivewell
