Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the Lord has commanded: 5 From what you have, take an offering for the Lord. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the Lord an offering of gold, silver and bronze; 6 blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen; goat hair; 7 ram skins dyed red and another type of durable leather[a]; acacia wood; 8 olive oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense; 9 and onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and breast piece. Exodus 35:1-9
6 Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more, 7 because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work. Exodus 36:6,7
Anytime the Lord wants to accomplish a goal He empowers a woman or a man to believe they have the ability inside them to do it. I have learned from Moses, as well as Nehemiah. These men did two things in order to accomplish the work the Lord laid before them. They spent countless hours in prayer or direct communion with the Lord and they weren't afraid to ask people for resources. Moving millions of people through the desert and traveling thousands of miles to build a temple takes an unshakeable faith in God and a strong belief that God himself demands this work be done.
I know that God is calling me into the mission fields to be His light to a world that is suffering. I don't go to glorify myself. I go into the places of this earth where the least of these live in order to share the love of God with them and support their efforts to live a whole life. I have reached a point in my life where nothing but living for God satisfies me. The Lord Himself tells us several times throughout the new testament to go out and make disciples of all nations. This is my life's work.
But I can not do it without your prayers and resources. I have broken down the cost of the trip into more manageable numbers. I looking for 31 people who have been led by the Spirit to support me in the World Race. I need 31 people to make a commitment to pay fifty dollars a month for ten months starting in June 2013 and ending in March 2014. With just 31 one faithful saints I can raise 15,500 dollars and become an agent of change on an international level. The funds you offer to support me will pay for travel, and food. I won't be saying in nice hotels or living in the lap of luxury. A sleeping bag and tent will be my housing during this year in the mission fields.
Leviticus 26:8 says, "Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you." I'm looking for 31 people who will financially help me change the world. If you can't afford to offer finances please pray that I receive the funding I need and tell someone who you might know with extra resources that this is a worthy cause. Not only are your funds totally tax deductible, you can rest assure that your money is helping change someone else's life, not mine, but someone you will bless through me. Thank you in advance for the prayers and financial support.
