Playtime

Cape Town is wonderful. The weather
here is perfect. After our over night bus ride we took a short train
ride to our location. The tracks went along the coast so we were
able to see the beauty of this place right away.

 

Ministry so far this month has be
fantastic. It is winter break here so in the mornings we have a VBS
for preschool and grade school children and in the the afternoons we
do the same for the teenagers. We are located in Ocean View which is
an old name since you can not see the ocean even though it is very
close by. This is a very poor area that is troubled by alcohol,
drugs and gangs. Most of the people that live in the area have no
hope or ambition to leave Ocean View. They are content living the
way that they always have lived. The beach is less then a 10 minute walk
and yet the majority of people in the area have never set foot on it.

 

We are working with Living Hope and it
has been a great experience. The staff of workers and volunteers are
a blessing to work with.

 

They are all dedicated to making an impact
on these kids by sharing the love of Jesus with them.

 

The kids here are awesome. My first
week I was working with the preschoolers and I loved every minute of
it.

There are so much fun to be around. Everything they do makes me
smile.

Travis is a dancing fool that goes off
at the sound of music.
