I know that it has been a while since
my last blog and I am sorry for that. Romania is a much different
place then India and Nepal and it has taken me some time to figure
what God has planned for me here.
More to come on that in a later blog.
were going out with our contact Becky (Who is one of the wildest and
craziest women of God I have every met.) to drop off clothes to a
local Gypsy village. I really didn’t know what to expect. We pulled
up to a small little area off the main road. It had a long main
building and a few small little homes all around it. We hopped out
of the van and Becky took us around the village first to meet some of
the people and draw a crowd to the van to get clothes later. We went
into one of the homes to find out that four families share a tiny
two-bedroom apartment. They were happy to see us and welcomed as
many of us that would fit into the little home. From there we walked
back to the van to start handing out clothes. This turned out to be
a bigger challenge then I thought.

in homes with no heat it should not have been a big surprise how they
would react to us handing out warm clothes. Becky even warned us if
the pushing got to bad that we would pack up and leave. We open the
back of the van doors and the girls started handing out some of the
clothes while one of the other guys and myself worked crowd control.
It turned into a fun game for about seven little boys who were trying
to go through our legs to get passed us while we used our arms to
hold back the others.

Becky called it a night since the crowd wouldn’t listen to us anymore
and just stated pushing each other. Over all it was a good night.
We passed out a lot of warm clothes and our contact was able to make
more connections with some of the locals that she witnesses to.
out to visit families in need of food and clothing. This was by far
my favorite ministry days so far. We pulled up to one of the home
and eight small children were in the front yard waiting for us. As
we got out of the van the children started to jump up and down with
joy. We gave them the food and clothes and as a special gift we
passed out belated Christmas gifts.

faces. Having next to nothing and finding so much joy in the
simplest of things left me with a lot to think of in my own life.
