So my first day out began closer to the
afternoon around 11am. Even though breakfast is at 7am and lunch is
at 9am followed by 10am worship. A New place with a new way of doing
things. So we started making our way up the mountain when it was
already clear to me that God was going to show His glory all through
the day. Every step that I took more of His glory was revealed by
His creations surrounding us.

A little way up the mountain we made
our first stop at a believers house. We were greeted with a warm
welcome and had a little rest while the children looked at us from a
distance. We were served some kind of sour buffalo milk which made
me sick for the next three days.

(One of many amazing views.)
(Pastor and his son-in-law.)

As we continued to climb the mountain
life seemed so unreal. Here I am in north Nepal hiking mountains
telling people about Jesus when only two months ago I was back home
in the states. I can’t help but think how awesome my life is right
now and what God has in store for me next.

As we made our way to different places
along the mountain side we shared with many different groups the love
of Christ. We would talk a little and then pastor would talk a
little. The people were willing to hear about Jesus but they did not
see why their religions were different. Pastor had been working on
these villages before so we were just happy to encourage him and help
plant more seeds for Christ that he can continually water after we
leave.

(Our awesome translator.)
(Local village.)
As we walked back down the mountain God
was still opening my eyes to all of his wonders that my day journey
had to offer. Everything seemed so wonderful and peaceful like it
was too good to be real. It is clear that ministry here will be a lot
different then in India. I hope that my team can just embrace the
slow pace of life and people here. Also just use the time that we
have here to reflect on what God wants to do in our lives.
(My favorite new tree.)

Once again thank you all for your
prayers and support. They mean the world to me. I only wish I had
more time to write to all of you. May God bless you all.

P.S.  I only need $3,000 more to be fully funded.  Thank you all that have supported me so far.  There is still time for those who have not gotten around to it.  Thank you all again for following me on The World Race.
