So our final days in India God decided
to show up in awesome ways. (At least for us, Americans) We started
our days visiting two villages in the morning and one more at night.
Most of the villages practice Hindu and have never heard the name of
Jesus before. A few of the villages had at least one Christian
family in it and two of the villages had a church with a pastor.
Every village was a completely different experience. Some of the
people would listen to everything we would have to say while others
would walk away when they hear we were talking about our God. Some
of the elder women would dance for us which was a lot of fun to see.

Other would laugh and make joke. Some
would sing praise song to God with us. Most of the people were at
least open to what we had to say. Every village was presented the
Gospel message and it was received with mixed feelings. Some people
wanted to be healed before they would believe. Some wanted nothing
to do with Christ. In a few of the villages some people realized
that we were speaking the truth and came to accept Christ as their
personal Lord and Savior. It was so awesome to see God move in the
hearts of these people. We connected each new believer with the
pastor we were traveling with so he could stay connected with them.

After we were done preaching it was
time for prayer. Believers or not almost everyone want to be prayed
over for healing, blessings and even some demon possessions. Now
everyone on my team was new to praying over people and expecting
things to happen right away except for Philip. So we let him take
the lead the first few nights until the rest of us stepped up and
believed that God has given us the power to do all of these things in
in the name of Jesus Christ. It was some of the most incredible
things that I have ever witness in my life. We prayed over the deaf,
blind, lame and sick. We saw these people healed before our eyes.
If we didn’t see results the first time we prayed again and again and
again. Some of these illnesses were from birth and in a few minutes
of prayer with faith in Jesus they were gone. A man that hadn’t
walked in two years due to an accident, arose and walked a few laps
around the room after my teammates prayed from him. A woman that was
deaf from birth started to hear sounds for the first time after a
teammate and I prayed for her. People that were burdened with demons
were set free. One little old women started to shake violently at
the name of Jesus as we prayed over her. This went on for a few
minutes. She would start and stop from time to time until at last
she had peace. She said that a darkness was lifted from her and
started to go and pray to her gods. We stopped her and told her that
Jesus Christ was the one that had healed her. She talked to the
pastor and accepted Jesus as her savior.

I know a lot of this sounds crazy but I
promise you that it is all true. We serve a mighty God, who wants to
do incredible things in your life. All you need to do is but your
faith and trust in Him because we have no power on our own. God is
just waiting for you to step up and accept all that He has to offer.
