SCM 3.20: celebrations in cambodia
~~~
during our time in siem reap, we had a little fusion family reunion, as daniel, my squad mentor, and emily rae, my alumni squad leader, and i all found ourselves in cambodia at the same time! emily rae is serving as a long term missionary in siem reap and daniel was traveling through in between work agendas with the next fusion generation. so, to celebrate our togetherness, we went mini golfing!
additionally, courtney, one of my essies, had been praying for the LORD to fully fund her by april 29, 2017. and, with 30 minutes to spare on that day, Courtney received her final donations to reach her financial goal. her celebration brought her to the pool for a midnight dip!
it was tough to say goodbye to s squad – my essies – a community of people who won me over and with whom i fell in love. but i feel confident that they will continue to be extraordinary storytellers throughout the rest of their race.
