Project Searchlight is a reunion/reflection opportunity for all of the squads who have launched in the same window to come together at the Adventures in Missions base in Gainesville, Georgia.
All but two of my squadmates from the Fusion Family were in attendance for worship, workshops, speakers, prayer, prophetic rooms, showcases, socials, and celebrations.
In a way, PSL is an extension to The World Race journey and is seen as a “Month 12”.
I invite you to be a part of the joyful and playful reunions to hear about what GOD has been doing in our lives since The World Race… and to see what we all look like in clean and fresh clothes! ;0)

my first time to travel again after returning from the world race – heading to the adventures in missions headquarters in gainesville, georgia for project searchlight. among the glorious squad reunions, i first had a surprise visit before even departing from my home airport!

the first evening of project searchlight presented a grand squad reunion and feast, an opportunity to see the adventures in missions base and meet some of the staff who mobilize world racers, and praise GOD for all that HE did throughout our 11 month journey!

each squad from the world race is invited to one final event linked to their ministry journey across the globe. “month 12” is hosted by adventures in missions at their gainsville, georgia base with the purpose to bring together all of the squads who launched at the same time; to encourage racers in their transition home, build on the momentum of spiritual and personal growth, and connect new alumni to the greater, worldwide networks of generations of racers. fusion had all but two of us travel from across different areas of the world to represent our squad and experience!

PSL 1.7: PSL after [birthday] party

we celebrated loren’s birthday while our squad was in thailand last year. one year later, we find ourselves reunited in georgia and ring in her 25th year with a celebration of feasting, dancing, billiards, darts, and fusion family in downtown athens!

darek had a way early morning flight and makenzie, chris, and alycia had an early morning departure for their road trips. so our farewells were a little bit sad and a whole lot sleepy. ;0)
PSL 1.9: the rowe retreat

EmilyAnn’s family hosted our entire squad for a few days following project searchlight. their hospitality and gift for hosting is incredible and we were certainly spoiled by the homemade feasting, luxurious comforts, and love and care that was extended to all of us. essentially, we had a true retreat experience for relaxing and reconnecting.
