O CAMBODIA
Cambodia is different from many countries we have visited.
Cambodians are quite possibly the most beautiful people in the world.
Cambodians put condensed milk in their coffee and its soooo delicious!!
Cambodians eat ramen noodles for breakfast – ( Julie cooley you would love it)
We are living in that land is flooded because its rainy season

We share a house with frogs, lizards, spiders, giant red ants and even rats!!
(we even have a rats nest- this baby fell on top of jen from the ceiling)
we are farming in what feels like jungle heat. The sweat is constantly pouring out.

We teach 5 hours of English a day.
Our days are very long and its finally hit that its month 10. Lets just say we are feeling it! We are tired, achy, weary and just exhausted.
Its only been 1 week and we are finding it really hard.
We realize that we have been on the go for 10 months now and we feel like we are done.
We are no longer fresh on the field.
O how I remember what we were like on month 1 in Guatemala where we were all excited to get out to ministry. We had bounds of energy and nothing could stop us.lol
Now – we are pushing through.
Pushing through? I HATE THAT! I don’t want to be a racer that just pushes through the last leg of the race.
NO WAY!
I want to give my all. I want to finish the race running and to continue running.
Being worn out is not fully being present. Its not showing the joy of the Lord. I realize that there is noway on this earth that I can do this on my own physical strength but that I need to do it fully on His.
O God how many times will you show me this? How many times on this race have I had to say “God I can’t do this anymore” how many times have I said “God you need to take control.”
Haha I think God is trying to hint to me that I need to realize this for my whole life. We can’t do life on our own strength but we need to do life on His strength.
Our team has gone back to playing the thankful game…. The thankful game is where we shout out to God the things we are thankful for.
• Thank you that we have a roof over our head and we are not camping in the wet grass.
• Thank you that there is lizards and spiders to eat the bugs and flies.
• Thank you that kids show up every day because they are dying to know more English.
• Thank you that Kids show up every night for Bible study.
• Thank you that ever morning we wake up to the most delicious coffee.
• Thank you for the food in ma belly.
• Thank you for the amazing women on my team.
The list goes on and on.
We start to thank Him for the things we have and instantly things start to change.
We realize that we have so much.
I realize that this may not be our first month here but it’s so important to the people at this village. They have been excited for us coming. They have been waiting for us.
It would suck to only give them 50% when we can give 100%.
It’s time for us on the race to start choosing to live on Gods strength alone. We are useless and cant do it, But with His strength we can do it all. It’s time for you all back home to start living on Gods strength alone too.
We all need it!
Why would we even try to do it any other way?
Please pray for us, For my team and for D squad. We are tired and weary. We need His strength, His energy and His joy.

Team – sown in the spirit
Thank you, Love Dani xxx
