Sometimes in life, God calls us to take a road that is much different from the way the rest of the world is going. It’s easy to get stuck in the traffic of our society/culture, and get pulled and tugged the way of everyone else. But often, as we are stuck going where everyone else is going, we miss opportunities to take roads less traveled. The roads that God often calls us to are usually bumpier, curvier, and may even have some detours. Although it’s scary not knowing what’s around the corner, He promises that it will be so much more worth it than following all the tail lights. It’s on the bumpy roads where we get to see the beauty of life through the ups and downs. Even though it may take longer and have some obstacles in the road, the adventure and excitement on a path like this is so much more rewarding than being bumper to bumper with everyone else in the world. There are many times in life where we get stuck on the highway, but I challenge you (as I challenge myself) to take the back roads and see where God leads you!
As some of you know, our final financial deadline is coming up and I am about $700 away from meeting it. I fully believe that God will provide, and if you feel called to help me out prayerfully or financially I would be so appreciative. Some opportunities have been coming up here, and I am excited to see where God takes me! I am so thankful for how much support I have felt with CGA and with the World Race. Just knowing that you want to be a part of this journey with me means the world to me. So with that, I ask you to continue to join the road less traveled with me. 🙂
