(^^^Travelled from debrief to Palacaguina and lived in our tents on the floor of a church. Each team partnered with pastors from the area and helped them with different projects. Ours was expanding a parking lot and building an Adobe house. We also got to know people at some of the local church's in the area  We met some amazing people.)

(^^^Broke my foot and went to a free hospital that didn't have any crutches left so I used a wooden staff first, then an old walker, and then eventually crutches made for a giant.)

(^^It was a challenging month but I was starting to learn some very important lessons from God.)

HONDURAS

(^^Packed up my tent in Nicaragua and got to Honduras and unpacked it again.  This time we lived outside and was protected by two policemen who quickly became our friends!!)

(^^^Absolutely fell in love with the kids, who used to live on the street, who lived on the property where we lived.)

THAILAND

(^^Traveled to Thailand in 4 flights and a 10 hour bus ride. I found out once we got there that I still needed to use my crutches and to stay off my foot for a couple more weeks.  I had a really hard time for those weeks and felt discouraged by just about everything, but in that time I started to learn about what it looked like to be transparent.  Along with that, I also learned that it's ok to not be ok.  This month was one of the lowest points that I have had, but looking back I am now thankful because of the lessons that I am learning.)

(^This month I was able to work at a coffee shop and we also would go out at night and become friends with the prostitutes working at bars.)

(^By the end of the month I was able to leave my crutches behind and start a new chapter of my life, learning how to live out the lessons that God was teaching me.)

MALAYSIA

(^^^Took a 10 hour bus ride and a 23 hour train ride to get to Malaysia.  We lived in Georgetown, which was a beautiful city by the ocean.  It was so rich with culture that from the rooftop I could see a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, and a Mosque. Here we lived in Little India so we ate delicious street food every day.)

(^^Each day I either helped iron at a nearby thrift store or went to the hospital and raised money for heart transplants.  We also were involved with weekly worship with the people at Penang House of Prayer.)
