As I sat in the kitchen of a friends house talking to her and her mother about a long term missions trip one of their family friends was going on. I was intrigued! Unknown places, foods, bugs and sleeping on the ground. Most of us wouldn’t choose to put ourselves in that position. I would normally run as far as I could away, but this time it sounded exciting!
For example, I tend to stick to what I know. Kind of like when you go to a resturant and order the same thing every time or when you drive the same way to work ever day just beacuse.
But that day God put it on my heart to seek out such a trip. As I was researching different options that first website I stumbled upon was Missions in Adventures. Looking through all the different options they featured I saw The World Race. I suddenly felt emotion flowing through me. I was about to cry (at work mind you) The Holy Spirit was working in me and a short two days later I apply for The Work Race. I am excited for this journey that God is leading me on and cant wait to see whats in store.
