Conviction: A fixed or firm belief.
Think about your conviction. I know mine. Jesus Christ. If your a Christian, you know your convicted to his will! Convicted to Jesus' will. How simple and amazing is that? I am held accountable for my conviction in Christ. I am good with all of that. I was speaking with a quality friend of mine tonight. Brady Wright. Such a great man of God! We talked about a group of us buddies from college reuniting, and what our other friends were up to. We spoke of some ideas we both have about my trip next year. We never spoke about Jesus or church or God in our lives to in depth, but we were still connecting in his name. In the common belief that me and Brady were both Christians living on this natural earth attempting to be the best persons we can be, in Gods name with Gods help. I realized when I got off the phone with him, that my earthly conviction, is my friends and family. I live for Gods will, I breath with the Holy Spirit, I am convicted by his grace and love, but this life on Earth is spent with people. There are several places in the Bible where it mentions putting God first. "And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life." Matthew 19:29
I am so comfortable knowing I am leaving all the things behind such as friends and family, in order to serve Gods will in my life. I am hoping all of my family and friends realize what there conviction is and we are all called to Gods will. However each of us are meant to carry that will out, is up to God. It may pull us away from each other at times, but we will all by united in Heaven. I love my family with all my heart and would do anything for any member. I wish I was better at communicating that, and I will work on it into the future. I love my friends, all of them, with all my heart and I do my best to let them know. I am convicted through the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen! Amen! Amen!
