“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Cheers from Northern Ireland!

We just wrapped up month three in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. After two months in Eastern Europe, it was a huge blessing to be in a place that speaks English! We’ve been blessed beyond any other way I’ve seen out on the field. We came to serve the community of Coleraine with Causeway Coast Vineyard Church, yet in turn we were blessed tenfold by this church’s hospitality and generosity.

This church is also one of the most compassionate churches I’ve ever encountered. On a daily basis they distribute food, clothes, and anything else the poor in this community may need. They always open their doors to those struggling with addictions and depression. A safe refuge can be found here for sure. This body of believers is being exactly what was demanded of the Church – the very hands and feet of Jesus.

While my squad was working alongside the church, my main objective as squad leader has been to encourage and disciple them along their journey. And it’s been by far the most fulfilling job I’ve ever had. Think about it; what could be more exciting than having a job where your biggest responsibility is to encourage and uplift your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ?! And that’s exactly what I get to do here.

While it’s definitely the most joy I’ve found in my work, it’s also one of the greatest challenges I’ve ever faced. I’ve certainly made many mistakes along the way and have had to take correction a time or two. Yet in all the humbling moments I’ve had, grace has always been extended to me and I’ve been so touched by the love and kindness of those on my squad. As they would say in Ireland, my squad has been grand!

I appreciate all your prayers and support for my ministry. Only by the grace of God has this journey been possible. Please continue to pray for me as I still need to raise another $2,500 in support for the remainder of the year.   If you aren’t already, I ask that you would pray about being part of my support team with either a one-time donation or monthly support. Feel free to contact me anytime at [email protected]

We are now in India and the cultural transition has been quite drastic as you can imagine! Please keep us in your prayers as many of us are off in the jungle and far from civilization. We have limited access to internet and our standard of living is definitely much simpler this month. While life is more of a challenge here, it has been awesome to see the work God is doing in this once dark corner of the world. The church is expanding rapidly in India and our squad gets to be a part of the church-planting process!

You can be sure I will update you on how it all goes by the beginning of next month. Thanks again!

For His Renown,

Dan Lidwin
