“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,

which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them."
                                                                                     – Ephesians 2:10

It’s been a few months since my last newsletter, so let me first apologize for not updating you sooner! The year has been has been quite busy thus far and has included many new endeavors for me. It’s been interesting adapting to international mission work from a state-side perspective. I’ve learned a lot about what goes on behind the scenes as far as logistically sending out missionaries across the U.S. and around the world.

My work in particular has involved helping to develop a long-term plan for students and young missionaries like myself who return home from the field and need a plan for the future. We’re constantly meeting as a department throughout the week to brainstorm ways to activate my generation into further full-time ministry. It’s interesting because I myself am technically an intern in the Center for Global Action (our new apprenticeship program), yet I am helping to develop it. It’s a new project of AIM, barely a year old, but it’s taking off by leaps and bounds.

As far as the ministry development classes that I attend, I’ve learned so much in just a few short months. We have top-notch leaders of ministry who have served all across the U.S. and all around the world that pour into us all throughout the week. We’ve evaluated different characters of the Bible as well as modern day Christian leaders and studied how they sought God and charted their own courses of ministry. And with that we have used each of them as a model for helping us to discover God’s calling for our lives. I’ve also gone through an in-depth study of my spiritual gifts through which God has revealed so much about where I can be best used for the Kingdom now and in the future.

For now, my commitment to AIM will extend to the end of the year and then I will reevaluate where I will go from there when the time comes. My monthly support has remained steady, praise God! However, I am still about $3,000 short of my needs for the year. So if you aren’t already, I humbly ask that you would pray about supporting me during this next phase of my mission. If just 15 people donated $25 a month for the rest of the year, I will have met my goal!

The Lord always provides in His good timing, so I’m continually learning to live by faith. I have been so honored to have your prayers and support in the past and my work thus far would not have been completed without you. If you have any further questions or would like to know more about what’s on my heart, I would love to speak with you personally. You can get in touch with me via email or by phone would be even better. My cell phone number is 413-304-1203. Thanks again for your commitment to my ministry. You’ve been such a blessing to me! I’ll be in touch again soon.

For His Renown,

Dan Lidwin
