Lord, I want to see people from this country awakened and moved to the
plight of poverty-both here and overseas.
I want to see this nation’s hearts break for the ills overseas. I want to see people joined, united
hand in hand, to fighting the social problems of our country. I want to
see men and women stop when they see a brother in need, act when their sister
is hurting. I want to see this
nation restored to what you’ve intended for them so that their light may shine
before all men, all nations, and spark change. I want to see this nation extend a hand and lift others out
of hopelessness and despair. I
want to see this nation use its wealth and resources to better humanity, to
heal the broken, to damn poverty to the hell from which it came. I want to see this nation rise up, oh
Lord-to rise up and be more than it is.
I want to see this country thrive, not merely survive, and to help
others do the same.
Lord, I want to use my gift of photography to awaken this country. I want to travel the world, this
country included, and capture the hearts of the people and motivate others to
move. I want to do more with
what’s been given to me, with what I lived. I want to make a difference.
I want to see poverty eradicated.
I want to see the sex trade die because there is no audience.
I want to see missionaries walk away, confident the kids they worked
with are cared for instead of fearful they’ve died.
I want to see Swaziland thrive.
I want to see orphans welcomed with open arms instead of shunned for who
they are.
Lord, use me as your vessel. Birth in me new dreams and
passions. Ignite the flame within
my heart and bring me to new heights.
May I be the voice to the voiceless, oh Lord, spreading your life and
love to the lost and lonely. Let
me share their stories and awaken hearts.
Let me be your vessel, Lord.
Let my light shine forth before all men.
