The women working on Bangla Road are no less loved by the Lord than I am. They are not prostitutes in His eyes, rather, they are His princesses, His beautiful brides. We’ve all made mistakes in our lives, we’ve all been caught in a cycle of sin. Just because they live their lives for all to see out on Bangla, does not mean they are any further from the grips of grace or the arms of love the Father has to offer. Anyway, I asked the Lord to give me some words for the women I met, to speek to them what He wants them to know and this is what He gave me:
Precious daughter
My beautiful bride
I love every thing there is to love about you
I love your hair
I love your smile
I love your sweet, gentle ways
But I don’t love you for the same reasons he does
No, beloved.
I love you because you are mine
I love you because I created you
I love you because you will always be mine
You will never be beyond the reaches of my love
You will never be beyond the reaches of my grace
Oh precious daughter,
My beautiful bride
I see every tear that you shed
I see every time he mistreats you
I see the pain within your heart.
I see it when you cry at night, nobody around to listen.
I see the loneliness you feel.
I see how much you want the life you’re meant to live.
My daughter, I hurt when you hurt
I cry when you cry
And I am here, hand extended, ready to help you reach that life
You deserve so much more, my child.
You were created for so much more my child
You have purpose
You have worth
You have intricate value and meaning to this world.
Your live makes a difference, my daughter.
Your life makes a difference.
I love you, my child.
I’m here for you.
When you need me
When you finally recognize who I am,
I’ll be here.
Waiting.
I am your beloved and you are mine
So with that, I offically say goodbye to Bangla Road. I lay down the relationships I made on that road, in those bars, trusting the Lord that He will continue to pusure them and that His pursuit is a heck of a lot better than mine could ever be anyway. I lay them at your feet, oh Lord, and say, “Have your way, oh Lord. May your Kingdom come in their lives. I don’t care if they never remember my name or my face, as long as they remember there’s hope.”
Pray for us as we go into the next month. Pray that we can fully lay down Thailand and be ever present in Vietnman. Please keep in mind Vietnam is a closed country and communist at that so please be sensitive in your emails and comments. I don’t thank my readers and supporters enough so, thank you. If if weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be able to do this. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
