Amazing grace how sweet the sound

 

Oh Lord, how sweet your precious voice is.  How I long to hear it all the more.  I thank you for the ways you speak into my
life-through friends, through family, through your precious Word.  I thank you for constant whispers of truth,
the way you’re always drawing me near. 
So I pray that I may continue to tune into you-to that pure, sweet,
blissful voice of my Lord.

 

 

That saved a wretch like me

 

Oh Lord, how I thank you for your saving grace, for if it
weren’t for you, I’d be dead.  But
countless times you stepped in, delivered beacons of hope, so darkness would
never prevail.  You’ve saved me, my Lord,
from the hands of myself.  You’ve
completely redeemed my whole past.  And
so I thank you, oh Lord, my wonderful Savior. 
I thank you for this life been renewed.

 

 

I once was lost but now I’m found

 

For so long I ran away from you Lord.  For so long I fought on my own.  But your relentless pursuit caught hold of my
wandering heart and since that day I’ve forgot how to run.  Try as I may, I’ll always be within your loving
grasp.  No longer wandering aimlessly
about, rather wallowing in your love.  I
thank you, oh Lord, for that relentless pursuit and that tight grip that won’t
let me go.  I thank you for finding this
wandering heart and proudly claiming it as one of your own.

 

 

Was blind but now I see

 

Far too many years I believed all those lies, the ones that
I’d never feel love.  I was blinded to
truth until You came along and now my world’s been renewed.  The world is more beautiful, these people
more precious.  The love just flows forth
from them all!  I thank you, my Lord, for
removing these blinders, the ones I wore on my heart.  I thank you for awakening me to this love
that’s around me and for showering me with yours too.
