Hello everyone!
I am extremely excited to finally be sitting here and having the opportunity to write to you all and take you on this beautiful journey I am embarking on.
My name is Cynthia Morales, I am 22 years young and am a San Diego native. I live with my parents Aldo&Angelica and my three younger sisters, Angelique, Bridgette and Isabella in a small town called Valley Center. They are the best family I could ask for and we have a great bond that I will miss when I’m away.
Before I applied for the race I spent A LOT of time in prayer! I knew that this was something that I wanted to do BUT at times I asked myself what if God has something else planned for me? I struggled with the thought, because I felt that the race was calling my name. After many more prayers and seeking advice from friends and family, I started to think that maybe this was God calling me and not just my desire. I decided to take a leap of faith and either get a yes or no answer instead of a definite no if I didn’t apply.
I got the call on a Monday morning, it was a Big Bold YES!
GOD had answered my prayer with a Yes!
I cried and smiled a lot I was sooo happy and humbled by God’s answer. He is amazing, he is my love and my strength. My life is in his hands and I feel like I’m in a dream. I am super excited to get to share this joy that fills my heart that is My Father in heaven living and breathing in me. I know time will pass very quickly but I want to thank everyone who will join me on my new journey being God’s hands and feet all around the world.
