What do I say after 27 days in China!?!  I wore the exact same outfit for each of those days, the longest I went without a shower was about a week, we ate noodles and dumplings at almost every meal (it was cheap) and it was REALLY cold!  Aside from these minor (and I mean minor) afflictions…Daddy was with us.
We were led into the Northern Desert of China as a team of six who didn’t speak a lick of Mandarin wandering from town to town bringing Kingdom in any way we knew how.  It kind of reminds me of how after being baptized Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the desert for 40 days.  It doesn’t say much about what happened in those forty days but I think I have a better idea.  Its been a month of deeper intimacy with God and with each other as teammates.  Getting to know each other on a whole new level and getting to know Daddy even more.  I feel like the Lord was showing me just what its like to sow.  In the Philippines we reaped a lot of what Jeff Long had sown for years and years and I’d somehow expected to come into China and see hundreds received Jesus.  I learned that sowing comes before the reaping and China needed to be sowed into.  So we sowed…our smiles, our time, our love, our friendship, our worship, our prayers, our tears, and our hearts.  I can definately say there were times where I just didn’t wanna be there anymore, but I can also say that there are a few people that I’m trusting God with and believing for the harvest.  Even if it seems utterly impossible for a muslim town to be completely transformed into a Kingdom town I know my God is bigger.
So now we move on…Kenya here I come!!!  I love Africa and I can’t wait to only wear one layer of clothing!  Thank you for all of your prayers, I know they got me through so much and I hope to email and blog more soon but for now please enjoy the pics (get the pictcha link to the left) and know that I love you all!  Karis, Judah and Hephzibah will be in Eldoret this month preaching, feeding kids, all night prayer watches and hosting a radio station!  Soooo Cool!  Once again, we won’t have much internet access so please continue to pray even if you don’t hear from me…your prayers are changing history!
