Some days I feel like my picture should be beside the word “procrastinator” in the dictionary. I love deadlines simply because I love waiting to the last minute and having something push me to finish. I love the chaos, I love the uncertainty of “will I make it?”
However, my deadlines for fundraising for this mission trip are completely different. I am trying to be proactive, trying. I am fighting distractions, fighting finding the time, fighting every obstacle the enemy keeps throwing at me. More than anything I want to be fully funded before I leave in January. I don’t want fundraising to be a distraction for me while I am half way across the world trying to focus on the mission at hand.
I am slowly working my way through ALL my contacts to ask for donations. If you know me to any extent you will know I am a giver, not a taker. I have a heart for mercy. I am use to helping others, giving to others, putting others ahead of myself…I am horrible at asking for help for myself…but, I NEED YOUR HELP.
Yes, I NEED YOU. Those words don’t come out of my mouth much. I NEED YOU for donations, I NEED YOU to pray for me, I NEED YOU for fundraising ideas, I NEED YOU.
My FIRST fundraising deadline is coming up in September and I am $2,000.00 short of meeting it. So, I NEED YOU. Please consider helping me reach my goal. Pray about it, please. If you have any questions about the mission trip, please ask. All funds raised go towards the travel cost, insurance, food, and “lodging” when we are not sleeping in a tent.
When I say I NEED YOU, I truly NEED YOU. If you can not donate, please just keep me and my squad in your prayers.
