So the other day I heard a speaker on the radio talking about the Lord’s return, The speaker was saying how we should pray for the hurry of Christ’s return. Now Christ return for believers is a great thing and I can understand people wanting it to happen soon so that we can be in Heaven worshiping the Lord, with out pain; but I have big problems with praying for it to hurry up.
Not that I think this life on earth is more important and we are never guaranteed tomorrow but I actually had to turn off the radio and pray for the lost, and those who have never heard the Truth about God’s love yet. How can we as believers ever want to pray for the hurry of the Return of Christ if there are still people who have never heard of the gospel? How can we pray for the Hurry of the Return when loved ones still don’t have a relationship with Christ? How can we not instead pray for those who do not yet have a relationship with Christ? How can we not seek God for the call to go out into the World to Share the Truth of God’s love with the least of these? Are we as believers really that selfish that all we can think of is being in Heaven, not trying to reach every person in this world for Christ?
My heart burns and breaks for the lost, and those who have never heard the Truth of Gods love, never heard the gospel. I am beyond excited that I have the pleasure to go on this missions trip so I can reach all the people that God is sending me to.
All of us have a call to GO, that is a physical thing that you have to do! weather that means Going to a store and sharing the gospel, having an event that shares the gospel, handing out food and sharing the gospel, or going to different countries in the world, or if you can’t physically go pray for missionaries or support missionaries, pastors, etc. (which makes you an equal partner in reaching the lost)
