must read part 1 first!

so then came alter call time I went forward and as I was praying I thanked God for the confirmations but what was about to come I was not ready for. I was praying and crying (happy tears). Then my one friend came over and started praying over me. I wish I could remember all of it or had a recording because when I went to write everything down I only remembered bits and pieces. But what I do remember I am going to post. He prayed and said “This is a new season for you, that everywhere I step my foot that God is going to open doors.” Then another friend came up and prayed and spoke over me. “That God is raising up the Confidence in me is rising up. God is going to provide for this trip, He provides for what He calls you to do. You are a person of influence.” Like I said these are the only things I remember from what they spoke over me and prayed but I remembered enough to rock my world.

Like the title says this was a week of confirmations and I just got through Sunday hahaha.

So on Monday I started reading the book “Kingdom Journeys” by Seth Barnes, I had never heard of it before but some of my squad mates recommended it to me. I didn’t know it was by the person who started adventures and missions and the world race. I have only read the first chapter but I have read it twice, and half of it is highlighted haha. so some confirmations that came from that book

“Matthew 13 (he used no less then seven metaphors to discribe the Kingdom).

“a physical journey can reinvent and revitalize our spiritual journey with God. If you look at Jesus, you see he called his disciples to follow him on a physical journey, not just a spiritual one.”

“God teaches through experience, and God may be calling you to experience a kingdom journey, a real life journey through the world that will prepare you for your lifelong journey of faith.”

while talking about his first journey is described one day ” The next day we hiked jungle trails ans saw the ruins of Palenque. The heat was intense and we cooled off by sitting beneath the beautifully blue, cascading waterfalls. I couldn’t believe how lush and verdant everything was. It was a scene from National Geographic.” wow with the word I had in 2012 that my photography and ministry would be like National Geographic. I can’t help but know that is a confirmation!

More confirmations of what God was telling me to do for preparations. are in this book in the chapter

*To discover the kingdom, you have to lay aside your possessions and go on the road with him. (Mark 10:17-27)

*To find your calling, you have to quit your job. “Leave your nets,”he says to us. “Follow me… and I will make you fishers of men” (Mark 1:17-18)

*To see the dead raised, you have to leave the funeral. “Follow me,”he commands.”Let the dead bury their own dead” (Luke 9:60) (spiritual and physically dead just saying)

*To become rich, you have to give up everything. If you want to be perfect, go, “sell your possessions and give to the poor.” You will have “treasure in Heaven.” Then come, follow me (Luke 12:33)

*To get what you want, you have to abandon desire. “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny himself and take up their cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23)

“To know Jesus, you have to learn to leave. In the end, the leaving is the finding. You abandon your earthly treasure; you receive a treasure in heaven. You abandon your earthly father and mother; you get the family of God. You abandon your life, and like a seed that dies and grows a hundred times its size, you find new abundant life.”

“All of us are on a journey. We can’t escape the beginning and the end, but the middle is full of crazy possibilities.”

Then Monday night I listened to a little of a podcast from Bill Johnson

this is some that stuck out to me: He is going to send you on a Journey!

Isaiah 60

60 “Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
Nations will come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your dawn.

“Lift up your eyes and look about you:
    All assemble and come to you;
your sons come from afar,
and your daughters are carried on the hip.
Then you will look and be radiant,
    your heart will throb and swell with joy;
the wealth on the seas will be brought to you,
to you the riches of the nations will come.

*Matthew 13-Parables on the Kingdom!

*then he spoke of Matthew 5:13 and us being the Salt of the Earth, we are alive to add flavor to the city, when we are scattered in the earth, we not only bring out flavor but it also draws out the bad stuff, salt without flavor is worthless, Flavor=the capacity to do life well.

* you are relevant when you model what they need to become. (more like Jesus)

* The disciples belonged before they believed(how many times did Jesus say you of little faith)

Key notes between the words that came to me from both Seth Barnes book and Bill Johnson speaking, both mentioned Matthew 13, parables of the Kingdom!!!!, Both mentioned it is a Journey.

Then Wednesday I went to a friends house to listen to Heidi Baker(missionary to Mozambique) speak:First of she shares testimonies from Mozambique and it is actually a country right next to 3 of the countries I am going to.

Then she speaks of us having the Light of Jesus in us and Being the Light to the world! How the song this Little light of mine is so off! If we truly have the Light of the World Jesus in us our light is not little, second of all it can’t easily be put out like the song suggests

John 8:12  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Then she spoke and Asked “Do You want the Nations?”

Then on Thursday night I listened to Rodney Howard Brown and he spoke on Acts 9 the story of Saul’s Conversion.

Acts 9:10 In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord called to him in a vision,“Ananias!”

“Yes, Lord,” he answered.

11 The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. 12 In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”

13 “Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. 14 And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. 16 I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”
This sticks out to me because if we are afraid to go share with anyone you never know if they could be the next (Saul that became Paul)

Through all of this week God is showing me how as I sell my stuff, getting ready to leave my jobs (Being a photographer, and working at the gas station), leaving my family and friends; to go serve him that though I have been a disciple for a while since I was 13 years old I am learning to be completely abandoned to Him and following Him all my life, That this Journey is going to change my life more and more, spiritually, physically, there will be more boldness or confidence not only in myself but in Trusting God with everything. He is giving me another Spiritual family with all of my O Squad team mates! Whom I have not met yet but already am so encouraged by each of them, loved by all of them, and I know that I look forward to meeting them and spending this journey with them as we all grow, change and go and change the world.
YOU Truly Can’t Change the World if you yourself is not willing to Change! We are to be like Christ, Everyday we become more and more like him as we prepare our hearts, invite Him in, Trust Him as we follow Him We need to Follow Him with (Blind Faith) Knowing He is there, He is our provider, Knowing he will Work IN us and Through US. Just because we can’t see it right now doesn’t mean He is not there Our Journey is starting now even before we take the physical Journey. We are about to embark in a Journey much like those of the Disciples, Belonging before Believing (those fears of not having funds, thinking we can’t do it for any reason.)
We Belong to this Journey! We can do all things because we have Christ in us and through Us he will help us to accomplish all of this. He is the Light in Us, He will Draw all men as we go to the Nations!
