Though I have not left for the World Race Yet I have plenty of Miracle stories to share from India and Peru!
I choose to share one from India that really impacted me and I haven’t shared too much about it, though it is funny that one of my team mates spoke a little of it when we came back.
While I was in India we drove to a lot of places and sometimes it took hours to get to where we were going. So in the car as we were driving we sang songs of worship and prayed the whole time so that the anointing would already be stirring up in us, and that the atmosphere would already be changing and shifting because God was already going before us. This particular night when we entered the place we had gotten there at least an hour late but you wouldn’t know it because all the people were in full blown worship.
A few of my friends shared from the pulpit and then the whole team went out to pray for the people. This night I took very few photos, I took a few of my team praying and then I felt led to go pray for one particular lady. She was the first of many that I prayed for that night but God really pressed her on my heart.
She had one brown eye and one light blue eye that had no pupil. As I came to pray for her she pointed to the blue eye and the translator said she can’t see at all out of that eye but she could see out of her brown eye. So I began to pray and God let me see the healing take place. I had never seen anything like it before.
First I saw a pupil come into her eye and it was kinda like in slow motion from a small black dot to a full size pupil and then I saw as the lite blue color around it became brown. Then she fell out in the Spirit and I knew in my heart God had healed her and He was just finishing the work.
I went on to pray for the rest of the people around me and one of my team members came and took my camera so that they could get pictures of me praying since I normally was the one taking pictures of everyone else or if I was praying for people didn’t get photos.
Most of the people I prayed for fell out in the spirit which I know is because God was really moving in that place because all of their passionate hunger.
After we all finished praying the Pastor of the church had all the people in the church who had received healing to raise their hands and the majority of the people did, then he asked a few people to come up and tell their testimony and the woman that I prayed for at the beginning came up. She pointed at me and said she prayed for me and God restored my sight.
I broke inside because God chose to use me to bring healing to that woman, he chose me to see as her eye was being restored right before my eyes. Yes I know God has used me before but I had never watched and seen as God restored something before.
Later that night as I was praying before bed and thanking God for using me, He spoke to me and said there is so much more to come and you will see more and more of my miracles as I send you out.
That night He didn’t just restore that lady’s eyes but he made me see the beginning of what is to come for my life in serving Him and doing as He has called me to do. I too was some what blinded to God using me in healing, wondering if he ever would use me to heal the sick, blind etc. He also opened my eyes to that fact that there were times He used me before I just didn’t see it physically happen right in an instant.
Matthew 10:8 “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.”
I wish I got a picture of the lady before she was healed but I did get a picture of her at least healed so I will always remember her
