World race World race.. you've changed my life
Im certain im becoming an amazing wife
Ive learned how to weed, cook and clean
and also how to live in community
We have this thing that we call feeback
where we uplift and call each other out where we lack
I've grown so much in my spiritual walk
Me and my man Jesus, we often talk
The bible is my spiritual bread
but thats not the only thing that has kept me fed
Oh how i miss Asia .. so much noodle and rice
Most of the food is oh SO nice
they honor you with quite alot
which contributes to my ever growing muffin top
We plot ways to stuff children in our packs
hoping we can slip one or two through the cracks
The contacts we've had will truly be missed
There are way too many we love to make a list
We leave a piece of our hearts everywhere we go
also clothes and gear if we don't need it anymo
Oh Asia and Africa.. how I'll miss thee
Except for when i really have to pee
The squatties have been interesting and so have the troughs
Especially when you have to go number two and take your pants completely off
We've seen some awesome things and some crazy stuff too
Like the train tracks in India covered in poo
Angkor Wat in Cambodia was really a treat
And the Great Barrier reef in Australia was sweet!
The beaches in Thailand were a sight for sore eyes
And so were the huts in Africa covered in cow pies
We had a blast with our friends in KL
Our contacts were straight up.. the truth they would tell
Nepal was a treat.. the kids were all swell
Even though the heat felt hotter than hell
Topics of conversation have turned for the worse- atlast
talking of bowel movements.. and unfortunately- gas
The race has brought out the best of us.. and the worst
We steal sugar and toilet paper.. which is definately a first
Our clothes are eccentric and thats being kind
we throw on every piece of clothing we can find
We travel from place to place piled up with our packs
but first we stock up and bum everyone elses snacks
Our teevas and chacos have seen better days
the smell is repulsive, nothing helps.. not even sprays
We've held and spent money from all of these places
and seen a wide variety of people and faces
Preachers and singers we have now become
and every once in a blue moon you can convice us to run
Chocolate, biscuits, cokes have all become our vices
thankfully in other countries.. they have lower prices
We have awesome tans.. that stop at our calfs and our sleeves
and find ourselves ohhing and ahhing when we feel a nice breeze
Here we are in Mozambique.. its one of our peaks
Despite the fact i haven't had a solid bowel movement in weeks (sorry guys)
The stench of BO is increasingly rotten
the Africans-their deoderant obviously forgotten
But we've had so much fun with ministry and dancing
you should see my leader Ben.. leaping and prancing
While most of my friends are home spending time with their mate
Im having the time of my life on the World… Wait?
As i finish this ode.. my stomache full of pizza
Im praying.. dear God please don't let me have the rhea.
