It has begun. This whirlwind of traveling to 11 different countries isn’t an idea or dream, it’s reality. Right now, I’m processing all of the thoughts buzzing in my mind while sitting in front of the Asiana check-in line, and I thought I’d give you all an update!
I have a little over 25 hours left of my travel day. To break it down, that’s 5 hours in Chicago, a 14 hour flight, a 15 hour layover in Seoul, and a 5 hour flight to Phnom Penh.
MONTH 11 INFO: Before training camp, our last country was supposed to be in Greece, but that was changed and became an unknown destination. Well, the wait is over! For month 11, my squad will be in Spain! I am incredibly excited for this. I’ve thought about going after the race was over, and now Spain will be a part of it. Right now the hope is to spend some time in Barcelona, walking El Camino, and visiting G42 (a partner leadership school of Adventures in Missions).
I’m personally very excited about the Camino. It’s a pilgrimage, and everyone walking it is there for a reason whether it be the death of a loved one or running away. The people we meet will give us an incredible opportunity.
Because in less than 24 hours I’ll be leaving America, I wanted to give everyone a chance to contact me and have more personal interaction with me if they want. If you have any questions or want to say hi, email me J If there is a specific date (my birthday, Christmas, your birthday, May 2, a bad day, a really good day, etc) put that in the subject line.
That’s all for now, and next time you hear from me, it will be from the other side of the world!
