By nature, I’m an incredibly independent individual. I like doing things on my own, and I hate asking for help. Pinching corners and budgeting are specialties of mine. Working multiple jobs to pay rent and schools loans? Count me in! I take pride in it. Too much. It’s a problem I sweep under the rug and hope no one trips over the corners and notices. But, the crazy thing is, once I signed up for the race, I began to trip over my own rug only to find Pride staring me straight in the face.

I’m realizing I can’t do it all. Not in the least bit. I have to Trust God, have faith, and be obedient. He has called me into this journey, and He will provide. My head knows that, but I constantly feel the need to fight it.

So, here it goes. A step towards trust. The start of my fundraising journey and asking for help. Because, no matter how many pennies I pinch or trips to Starbucks I skip, raising $16,561 can’t happen without your help!

I need supporters—lots of ‘em. Whether it is a one time donation, the change found in your sock drawer, or a monthly commitment, it will help me reach my goal!

So, How can you support me?

First, you can pray. Pray for my journey, and pray to see off God is calling you to join me in this journey. If He is, a list of ways you can support me is below. And, if He isn’t your prayers are more than enough. Whether it is prayer, or prayer and giving, thank you, in advance, for your support!

Without further ado…My list:

  1.  You can click the “Support Me” button at the top right of my page and follow the directions to give a tax-deductible donation.
  2. Buy one of these awesome T-shirts for $20 ($2 more for XXL and XXXL, and $5 if you need it shipped).
  3. If you live in the Greeley, CO area, order cake from me, or cookies, or anything sweet because I LOVE making tummies happy
  4. Go to myregistry.com and type in my name. There, I have a growing list of things I need to buy for the race.

Thanks for reading and (possibly) supporting me! If you want to follow me on my journey leading up to the World Race and while I’m on the field, subscribe to this blog to get all of the updates!
