The past week we have not been able to do the ministry we originally came here to do, work at Care Points with people affected by HIV, because our van is getting worked on, but we have been able to keep busy with a great number of ministries here that were eager to have our help.

I got the chance on Tuesday to ride around in a truck and do the biweekly food deliveries to the 6 or so Care Points that are in our area. Each place got some rice, beans, flour, oil, salt, and dried soup flavor. It was great to be able to see new parts of the area and how beautiful Swaziland is in addition to getting a preview of what the next few weeks will look like. However, we had a pretty tight schedule so I don’t know what each point does or what our work will be like.

I also got to take part in a soccer game with kids ranging from 10
to 17. The goals of the team is to give the kids role models and positive influences as well as something fun to do.

We threw a Christmas party for the kids that come to the care point where we are staying. There were so many kids that came. They all got fed chicken, rice, and juice and probably a hundred or more came. We had dancing, waterbaloons and I got to help them decorate Christmas cookies.   We had a party for the whole church tonight and we helped the ladies make chicken, rice and beef for evertyone

Next week we should be able to use the van and go to all the care points to help out there. But if we can’t there are always kids around to play with or some one that needs our help here.
