Three years ago I was told I was going to Haiti. It didn’t work out that year but I am so overjoyed to say that I will be leaving for Haiti on Tuesday!

A little update for what the next few days are going to look like before we leave the country. On Friday, I leave for Launch in Atlanta. Launch consists of 4 days where we will receive training and be able to connect with our squad more. I am so excited to be reunited with them.

Tuesday, September 9th, we will be leaving for Haiti. Team ROAR and Team Free to Be will be serving at Together We Can in Montrouis Haiti for our first month! You can find out more about the ministry here. We cannot wait to meet our ministry contact and spend the rest of September learning about the Haitian culture.

At this moment I have about $11,500 in my world race account. Right now this is great and allows me to stay on the race for at least 6 months. I still need about $4,700 to stay the whole time. If you are interested in helping me stay on the Race for the whole time please let me know. This could be through a one-time donation or through a monthly donation! Anything helps.

Thank you to all my supporters. Thank you to my friends and family for loving me so well. And thank you to all the people who have prayed for me. I am so excited to start this journey with all of you.

P.S. A lot of people have been asking me if I will have internet… I will have access to internet in most places. Wifi is EVERYWHERE… but I will limit myself in how much time I spend on it. So I will try to update frequently but I do plan on spending a lot of time on the internet. I just want to take it all in, nah mean?

If you have Instagram, you can follow me at @courtennn… that is where I will be posting most of my pictures because it’s easiest for me.

Thanks all! I am so excited for this new season.
