The name is Courtney.
I live in Boulder City, NV. (right outside of Las Vegas)
I am 24 years old.
I come from a big family, some step, some biological, some in-laws but nonetheless, a big lovely family.
I graduated college in May with a communication degree.
I fell in love with travel & serving back in 2011 when I lived in Uganda, Africa for five months. I experienced more than one person would ever want to in a place far away from home, but it grounded me in my love for Jesus and my love to serve His world.
I love people, story telling and photography.
Since then I have been to a few other countries serving in different capacities but Uganda has my heart. I felt I had to make a decision between comfort (Uganda) and change (The Race) a couple months ago and for some crazy reason God landed me on the Race. I know that I am going to be stretched, changed, and pushed beyond my limits on the Race and I cannot wait to see what God has for me at the end of it all. Join me in this amazing journey before me.
