The last five days have been a whirl wind were I find myself asking “what day is it?”
The days have been long and sometimes it feels like two days in one.

We arrived on Saturday July 5th after two full days of travel with one very long lay over at the airport in Dehli, India. It was there where 45 World Racers scattered on the floor and attempted to sleep. Attempt being the key word. As you can imagine nothing is quick with a group of 45, getting through the Nepalese Visa process and getting our teams phones squared away took some time.

We met our host family (Father & Son) at the airport who loaded both Team Aperture and The Golden Arrows into a van – all of our stuff on top and we head “home” – or at least home for the next month.

Nepal is beautiful and breathtaking.
We live in the valley.

Home is an actual house with bedrooms and bathrooms.

I share a room with 5 other girls, mats are spread across the floor.

Ministry looks a little like this, so far:

House Ministry: House ministry typically is our team(s) heading out to a house in the valley, where we are most always greeted by the sweetest, Nepalese people. They welcome us in. We sit on the floor, and worship begins. Usually they sing a song or tow or three in Nepalese, their voices are loud and although we cannot understand them their words and praise to God are powerful. (You can feel it) Someone from the team shares a message or testimony. Closing prayer(s) are something fierce. These people can pray.

YWAM: Team Aperture had the awesome opportunity to head to the YWAM (Youth with a Mission) base here in Nepal. There we were able to share with the students about Worship and the many different ways it’s done. Myles opened up, we all shared a little an Will closed us out.

God is moving here in Nepal, that is evident. We have some other ministries I know are on the schedule but with anything else World Race style its pretty vague.
