WOW – I can’t believe it is already time to say goodbye! This month has flown by and I am very sad to say goodbye to this amazing place and these beautiful people. The Lord has done so much through us and in this place. I will never forget what the Lord has done here and, Lord willing, I will return one day to meet these people again.
We visited the hospital again this week and most of our friends had left but we made new ones. New children had been admitted with pneumonia and one even let me hold him! This was rarity b/c most of them were scared of me b/c of my white skin.

I had the privilege to speak to 2 men who both spoke English! And I was able to encourage one to continue holding fast to the Lord. One of the men was an Episcopal priest in Puerto and he was such an encouragement to me.
The little boy who we had been praying over and who I wrote a blog about last week. He lived through the weekend at the hospital but died on Tuesday. My sisters, Elizabeth and Sarah were with him and his family when he passed away. It has affected all of us deeply and we continue to pray for that family that through this pain that God will draw them to Himself.
On our last day at the schools we saw 6 teenagers trust in Jesus for salvation! It was a miracle – literally – and we were privileged to be a part of that. Here are some pics of our new brothers & sisters in Christ.

God did so much during our time in Puerto Cabezas and I have so many pictures from this month but there isn’t enough room in a blog to post them. Thank you for your prayers during our time in Nicaragua, we definitely felt them and we know the Holy Spirit moved mightily in this place. We give all the glory to God for the changed lives that we saw in this country.
