This past weekend was Silas’ birthday.  I don’t know if I mentioned yet but the men have been separate from all of their teams this month and they are doing “manistry“.  So they have been living in Bangkok and they just arrived in Shang Mai on Tuesday.  With Silas being away for this birthday (the big 25!) we were a little sad.  So we decided to surprise him for his birthday in Bangkok.  With the help of Casey Barefield (our adopted Lego team member) we organized for us to get to Bangkok for the weekend and take Silas to dinner.

On race day one of the items to be completed was to get to the top of the Baiyoke Tower which is the tallest building in Thailand.  Well for a few reasons Silas is the only one of team Lego who got to see the top.

Don’t you love the man purse?!

He was so kind as to make a video of his elevator ride to the top!  So we decided to make it a team event and go to dinner there.  With a little planning and sneaking around (not too hard in such a big city as Bangkok) we surprised Silas at the tower.  It was a great night of fun and fellowship and celebration.  Dinner was amazing and it was great to be a full team together again.  Here are some fun pictures from that night.

I have to admit we are the best looking team on C squad!  (maybe the whole WR?)
